\u201cWhy do I even need to learn this?\u201d<\/p>

We\u2019ve all heard a student say it. That simple question often opens the door to something far deeper\u2014a desire for meaning. It is within that moment of doubt that real learning has the potential to take root.<\/p>

Some of the most powerful learning experiences begin with a single question from a student. \u201cWhat if we could save energy in our classroom?\u201d That question might lead to an exploration of energy sources, window placement, insulation and electricity usage.<\/p>

Another project might come from noticing everyday school life.
